 Big Break Show percussionist and part of “House Band” for 2 seasons. Played behind Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston, Patty Labelle, Smokey Robinson, James Ingram, Maxi Priest, and many others.

This was a weekly series variety show, hosted by Natalie Cole, showcasing new talent performing urban and contemporary music. Contestants competed in five categories: soloist, group, children, rap, and variety. Along with these newcomers, well-known recording artists performed each week.  This was a Multimedia Entertainment, Inc. Production.  See videos here.

The show was taped at Universal Studios, Stage 23 the first season. The second season was taped at the Aaron Spelling Studios in Los Angeles.

This variety show was talent based and audience vote driven. Kind of like "American Idol." Natalie Cole was the host. R. Kelly and Eric Benet got their careers started on "Big Break" and I was very proud to be a part of every show.
